Welcome to My Farm Literature Blog

Wind Energy and Economic Growth

About Me

My name is Alexis Woolley. I am a Veterinary Student at Utah State University. I am currently creating this blog to share information about Wind Energy and the Economy for my Farm Literature class. Being in Pre-Veterinarian classes, I hear about animals all day long. I was very excited to enroll in a farm literature class, because farms and animals obviously go hand in hand. The domestication of animals years ago was very significant for the effectiveness of farming and the diminishing of hunting and gathering. Thus making animals a significant part of farming today. Agriculture is a part of my lectures every day. Before entering my bachelors program, I was able to take a few English classes which have made me a very confident writer. Being able to write again will be a great opportunity for me to develop better writing skills and maintain the skills I have previously gained. Although I love animals, I decided to branch out for my blog research topic and learn about something new. Technology is intriguing to me, therefore I decided to choose a topic that has opened up many job opportunities while also changing the way we create energy. The windmill has been around for quite a while, but the modernized windmill provides more benefits that many of us are not aware of. I will be sharing quite a bit of information about the economy and how the windmill has brought an increase of jobs, financial benefits, environmental benefits and has created a gateway to new technology in farming. Buckle up!

The reason I became a Veterinary Science Major.
